The Holsey Chapel CME Church Drama Ministry was created as an opportunity to use stories, dance, song, and comedy as tools of evangelism, highlight the loving relationship between God and humanity, demonstrate scriptural principles through characters’ journeys, foster opportunities for intergenerational discourse and fellowship, and be a space for transformation and creativity. Developed for both youth and adults, the ministry also serves to bridge the gap of connectivity and relevancy that may be barriers to church engagement. All ages are welcome to bring or further nurture talents of writing, directing, acting, singing, producing, staging, creating, arranging, and orating.
